Celebration 10,000th Visit Continues Part Three

Today, Mike's Show-N-Shine posts its last Celebration 10,000th Visitor contest.

I have two more gifts to give away and this is from my friends at Meguiar's.
They have sent me two great items, both my favorites! The winner of this contest will receive both items.

First, Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer with the new Hydrophobic Polymer Technology.
This is the missing link between washing and waxing! Instantly restores your show car's perfect finish!

Second, Miguiar's New Quik Mist & Wipe Wheel Detailer. For that instant tire shine that you want when you take your classic car to the car show.

So, here is what you do to win these great items from Meguiar's. Simply leave a comment below telling me anything you know about the Meguiar company. Examples: What kind of events do they sponsor? What kind of product have you used from Meguiar's, etc, etc., etc. Make sure I have an email address, website or some other way of notifying you when you win. If I can't contact you, you will be ineligible. Contest is open only to those 16 or older and live in the U.S. (sorry, but all you great Mike's Show-N-Shine readers from outside our borders are not eligible!) Alaska & Hawaii are also not eligible. It's a shipping and local law thing. Contest closes at 11:59pm on November 25th. Winner will be picked by random.

A special thanks to my friends at Meguiar's for providing these amazing products! Thanks guys and gals!!

So get going! One entry per email address, please! Good luck!

Mike's Show-N-Shine is actually over 12,000 visitors and going strong. If you would like to advertise on this site, just drop a line. Let's talk.

Giveaway Time at Mike's Show-N-Shine

First, I must apologize. I have been waiting for some items to arrive and it looks like one just isn't coming. But others have so let's get going!!

Here is how it works. I will be doing three to four posts, giveaways all. To win, simply click on the "comments" below each post and answer a simple question that I will be asking for each item given away. I want everyone to have an equal chance so make sure you follow instructions or you will not be eligible.

The first Celebration Giveaway item for you is an Ertle 1929 Mack Firetruck. The "Mack" became famous in the first part of the 20th century and, because of its durability, earned the nick name "Bulldog" which was adopted by the company for their insignia and has remained throughout the years. This was issued to the Jamestown, Michigan, Fire Department and comes from them!

I always enjoy comments left by my readers. This Celebration Giveaway is because I have gone over 10,000 visits. Actually, I am now over 11,500 visits, so let's keep them coming.

Answer this simple question. What is the nick name of Mack trucks?
Make sure your email, website or blog is listed in your response. If I cannot reach you, of course you are ineligible. Contest ends November 23rd at 11:59pm.

Good luck!

Chevy Lovers Come and See!! Rick Treworgy Collection!!

Just this morning, I received an email from a good friend, Bob, who had received this link to an unbelievable collection of Chevys located in Punta Gorda Florida.

Please take a minute and cruise through this remarkable collection of Chevrolets, from early classics to late model Cameros.

Mike's Show-N-Shine wants to thank Bob for the link and Buzz and Jackie for the tour. And of course Rick Treworgy who owns all these marvelous Chevrolets. Last, but not least, let me give a shout out to the Corvette Club of Orlando for putting on the tour. I am green with envy, guys!

Please click on this: Buzz and Jackie tour.

Note: Mike's Show-N-Shine is still collecting the giveaway prizes. There was a delay on one particular item so I am holding off until all arrive! Hang in there!

Celebration 10,000 Continues. Smart Car, Nissan Pivo 2

Continuing on with our Celebration 10,000 I am going to give you a glimpse into the future of new cars. This, according to the reporter, is what we will see running around the big cities in the near future. Made by Nissan, the Pivo 2 is remarkable. I can't see one on the dragstrip, but, then again, I can't see most of the newer cars on the dragstrip!!

I want to apologize that I have not listed my "giveaways" yet. I am still waiting for the items to arrive. I want to have them all ready to ship as soon as a winner is announced.

Take a look at this car. You might want to turn off my music while you look. Just look for my "Playlist" in the right sidebar. Click on the stop indicator while you enjoy the article.

If I lived in New York City, L.A., or one of our other mega metropolises, I might get excited about this car. Can you imagine driving this car from one city to another here in Michigan? A strong wind or snowy road and it would be off the road into the ditch....Hey, Bill, how does your Smart Car do in the winter? Did you try it last year? Bill bought a SmartCar a couple of years ago. One of the first in the U.S. Take a look at the SmartCar, built by Mercedes.
